Field Research Courses in Marine Mammals Science.
INTENSIVE WEEKEND COURSES
These intensive weekend courses provide an in-depth, hands-on immersion into the field and laboratory methods available to study cetaceans in the wild. These courses include information provided by the standard 10 days long FRC1001, FRC1002 and FRC1003 divided in 10 different courses lasting two days eachone.
This program contains three modules. The first module will introduce students to some of the methods available to monitor cetacean populations in the wild. In the second and third modules, course attendants will apply all specific methods on case studies, and perform analyses of example data. All three modules contain various theoretical and practical exercises.
